Tis the Season

It's been a while since my last Sally related post,  so to celebrate my dissertation hand-in Sally and I went shopping for a new winter coat.  Feeling somewhat festive.

Another Sally Project

I'm currently working on a new project; it's another Sally Project. There's hopefully going to be a set of three books which document Sally's adventures set in different historical periods. First up is Ancient Egypt. Below is the front cover. The other time periods I'm consider are Elizabethan England (Sally meets a highway man) and possibly 1970's Britain.

Refining Work

Over the Easter break I hope to refine some existing projects, in particular A Chip in the Sugar as I really enjoyed this one and also the Olympic Park Map too, as I still feel it could be taken a lot further. Alongside this, I plan to do something Sally-based, perhaps a little book or a mini-zine. I'm going to start off with the 'Chip in the Sugar' or Sally; it should fun.

Sally!

Here's Sally! I've been playing around with illustrator for software training today, I've made a few feeble attempts at using the Gradient Mesh tool in order to add shadow and imply light. It's currently in progress, but here's a sneak peek!
