#Winning!

Last night I attended the SheSays UK Awards ceremony, SheSays is an amazing organization running free mentorship and events to women in the creative and marketing businesses. The night started off with some inspiring speeches, my favourite being from Isobar's Nick Baily and his reference to this article: 'Female-named hurricanes kill more than male hurricanes because people don’t respect them'. Alongside some amazing work and nominees I was nominated for an award for A Book for Two, and won! It was amazing to receive such a beautiful wearable award and being recognised, I can't thank SheSays enough.

Computer Arts Feature

In this month's Computer Art's magazine, if you turn to page 106, you can see a feature on Creative Inspirations for A Book for Two. It was great to see the project in print, especially in a magazine I've been reading since I first discovered graphic design. So, get down to your local newsagents and pick up a copy!

A Book for Two Photoshoot

I'm planning on entering A Book for Two into the Creative Review Annual this year which is why I'm working with photographer Meara Kallista Morse to get some great shots for the entry. Here's a few snaps from the initial shoot this Friday where we tested colouring and lighting etc. With the final shoot happening Tuesday, I've got a busy few days ahead of bookbinding.

A Book for Two

I'm currently investing most of my time into exploring, creating, prototyping and more on A Book for Two. It was recently reviewed by Lucy Smith at the Publishing Lab and I cannot recommend reading her article enough. She's really understood and wonderfully articulated the concept behind shared reading experiences.

Also the A Book for Two website has had a revamp too: abookfortwo.co.uk
